Remove solids:

Reusable cloth diapers making changing easier - shake off any solids and no need to pre-rinse if they're only wet with urine. Make life easier with a diaper sprayer to rinse off the residue.

Store or pre-treat:

Store diapers and inserts in a moisture-proof wet bag, or plastic-lined bin, or pre-soak in a plastic bucket with cold water. No more worrying about letting them sit unwashed for days!

Wash:

Wash separately from regular loads, you can quickly remove the inserts and throw them in the machine with wipes and wet bags. For optimal care, wash warm at a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius, as temperatures higher than this can damage the waterproof fabric.

Dry:

Our cloth diapers are made with eco-friendly materials and designed to minimize environmental impact. To maximize their lifespan and effectiveness, we recommend line-drying or low-heat tumble drying with other clothes. Using the sun to ‘bleach’ stubborn stains is also an effective and sustainable method.

Extra Tips:

  • Dry diapers in sun to naturally 'bleach' stubborn stains
  • Deep clean your washing machine monthly with vinegar & baking soda
  • Place tiny drop of tea tree oil inside your dirty diaper bag or wet bag
  • Pre-treat stains with mixture of lemon juice, detergent, and water.

Things to Avoid:

  • Fabric softeners and detergent with fabric softeners make less absorbent
  • Chlorinated bleach will fade the cute prints(only non-chlorinated bleach)
  • wash warm (max 40C/104F) and tumble dry on low or it will void warranty
  • Do NOT let dirty diapers sit in a diaper pail or diaper bucket for more than a few days.
